John Guattery

John Guattery was born in 1956 in Middletown, New York, and graduated from Middletown High School in 1974. His career began in 1988 at  Orange and Rockland Utilities in the Coal Burning Plant in Stoney Point, and in 2022, he retired from the company while in Line Technical Services. 

John joined the Board of Directors for Family Empowerment in 2007 and has remained on the organization’s board for 19 years through its accumulation of other organizations and rebrand into Access: Supports for Living. 

John has two daughters, Melissa and Christine. Christine is a beloved attendee of The Arc of Greensboro as well as a team member at arcBARKS.
