arcBARKS dog treats was conceived and developed by The Arc of Greensboro. The purpose of developing arcBARKS was to provide:
- Vocational training for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- A source of revenue for The Arc of Greensboro, independent of public/government assistance.
- A way for The Arc of Greensboro to give back to the Greensboro community.
The Arc of Greensboro, Inc. is proud to have started the arcBARKS Dog Treat Bakery. arcBARKS Dog Treat Company is operated by enthusiastic and talented young men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They have been organized together in an entrepreneurial way to create a wholesome and natural pet product and venue to provide transitional employment training. Our participants are breaking barriers and are creating inclusive environments throughout the Greensboro community. Learn more about arcBARKS here
